We use the Samidori variety cultivated in both Minamiyamashiro and Tanabe regions.
Samidori is known for its rich umami and natural sweetness,
with an aroma often described as reminiscent of milk or black tea.
However, not every Samidori matcha is excellent by nature.
Only with abundant nutrients, careful cultivation, and precise processing
can the true character of the variety be brought to life.
