This matcha is made exclusively from Okumidori leaves grown in Minamiyamashiro Village.
Okumidori contains a high amount of chlorophyll, giving it a distinctive deep green color.
It is characterized by a strong umami flavor and a refreshing aroma.
GORI himself has always found Okumidori a challenging variety to produce,
but through continuous effort and experimentation each year,
his persistence bore fruit — and the 2025 harvest turned out beautifully.
